Your voice goes nowhere.

Audio is sent only to the Whisper engine running on your own computer. There is no external server, telemetry, or account to track.

About history: Transcripts can be stored locally for Stats and History. You can turn this off or delete everything at any time.

Learns how you work.

Bisik becomes more useful without sending a single piece of data away. Every bit of learning remains under your control.

01

Personal dictionary

Add names, brands, and work jargon. Bisik uses them as context whenever it listens.

02

Learns from corrections

Edit a term in History. When a correction is consistent, Bisik remembers it for future dictation.

03

AI Polish OPTIONAL

Remove filler and tidy sentences with SEA LION through Ollama. It still runs locally.

04

Stats you own

See word counts, speed, and history without a cloud dashboard. Turn it off or erase it whenever you want.

Before you try it.

Which Macs are supported? +

Bisik supports Apple Silicon Macs running macOS 13 or later. Intel Macs are not supported because the current build is optimized for Apple Silicon and Metal.

Why is the download so big? +

The full speech model is included in the installer, about 820MB on Mac and 900MB on Windows. That is what lets Bisik keep working without an internet connection.

Are my audio or transcripts stored? +

Audio is never stored. Transcripts can be stored locally for History and Stats. You can turn this setting off and erase all history inside the app.

Why does macOS show a security warning? +

The beta has not yet been notarized by Apple. On macOS 15 and later, try opening Bisik first, then go to System Settings, Privacy & Security, and choose Open Anyway. You only need to do this once.

Windows shows a SmartScreen warning during install? +

That is expected for now because the Windows installer is not signed yet. When SmartScreen shows "Windows protected your PC", click More info, then Run anyway. This only happens during installation.

Does Bisik really work offline? +

Yes. The speech engine and model run on your computer. Unplug WiFi after downloading and Bisik will continue to listen and type as usual.

How do I send feedback or report a bug? +

Use the Issues page on GitHub. Include your OS (macOS or Windows), its version, and what happened so we can investigate quickly.

Does Bisik update itself? +

Yes, on both Mac and Windows. Bisik checks for new versions in the background and tells you when one is ready; you choose when to install it. On Windows the update only downloads what changed, usually a few hundred kilobytes even though a full install is close to 900MB. Windows users who installed with the older MSI installer (before 2.3) need to download once more to get auto-updates.

Try a better way to type.

Free throughout beta. No account, no subscription, and no voice data leaving your computer.

Windows EARLY BUILD

Download Bisik 2.3.1
Windows 10/11 64-bitAbout 860MBSetup.exe installerAuto update

Version 2.3.1 includes full dictation (hold Right Ctrl, speak, release), a dashboard with History, a personal dictionary, learning from your corrections, and new speed work — short dictations are markedly faster. The latest update tunes the engine specifically for CPUs and turns Fast mode on by default for new installs. From 2.3, Bisik for Windows updates itself, the same way the Mac version does. AI Polish and live preview are not in yet. During install, SmartScreen may show a warning because the installer is not signed. See the FAQ.

Want to test it? The Windows build is still early and we need numbers from real PCs. Install it, do 5–10 normal dictations, then open Dashboard → Utama for your average wait. There is one experimental setting — Mod pantas (tray icon → Mod pantas), which starts transcribing while you are still speaking. Turn it on, repeat 5–10 dictations, and send us both numbers on GitHub Issues with your PC model. That is all we need to know whether it should become the default.
